The Jubilee Year of Mercy

On Gaudete Sunday, 13th December, at the beginning of the Conventual Mass, the Holy Door at Belmont was opened at a moving ceremony at which a large congregation was present. Abbot Paul was the chief celebrant and the preacher was the Most Reverend Kevin McDonald, Archbishop Emeritus of Southwark. The door had been beautifully decorated by Dom Bernard Wassall. There is a full programme of events planned to take place throughout the Holy Year. If you wish to organise a parish or group pilgrimage, please contact Fr Abbot or Br Bernard.
